Get Creative with Money!
A Guided Journalling Session
**REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED**
Sunday, March 30th @ 8am PT/11am ET/4pm UK
A 90-minute journalling session where you will be given prompts that inspire you to think about money (and your relationship with it) in new and playful ways!
Bring your notebook, your favourite pen/pencil—and maybe some coloured ones too!? Just for fun!
This session would be a good fit for anyone who is tired of the usual budgeting + financial goal-setting prompts, and wants to get a little more creative with their money this year!
When you register, you will get access to:
the 90-minute live session on March 30th,
a video replay for 30 days after, and
a PDF workbook with all of the prompts we go through!
What’s Included?
-
90 Minutes Together
On Sunday, March 30th, you will be invited to join the group for a 90-minute guided journalling session on Zoom. I’ll share the prompts, and you can write in your journal quietly—in the company of others.
-
ALL NEW Prompts
I’ve never hosted a journalling session quite like this before. It’s less structured, more playful, and I have absolutely no idea where our minds will go with the prompts. But they are all brand new, and I’m excited to share them with you!
-
"You" Time (with Others)
I know it’s not always easy to carve out time for yourself—especially to reflect. I’m here to hold that space for you, and to create a calm environment, so you can be present with your thoughts.
-
Shame-Free Environment
The session will largely be held in silence, with a few opportunities to share (on a volunteer-basis). As a member of our community, you can trust this is a shame-free environment, with no right or wrong answers. As a group, we know journalling is an exploration, not an examination.
-
Deepen Your Practice
My intention with any journalling session is to share prompts that might help you be more honest + get to know yourself in new ways. Whether you are new to journalling, or seasoned in the art of self-reflection, I hope you discover something interesting.
-
Replay + PDF Workbook
After the session, you will receive an email with a link to the replay (available for 30 days), PLUS: a PDF workbook with all of the prompts. Both options give you an opportunity to go through the questions on your own time, and in your own way, if you cannot join us live.
What Past Participants Have Said…
“The journalling sessions were just what I needed to slow me down and make me dive deeper. I am a regular ‘journalist,’ but the prompts Cait provided were thought provoking and took me on a path I generally don't wander down. The journey was lovely! This workshop was one I looked forward to every week, and miss now that it's over. I can't wait for the next opportunity to do it again.”
“Being given prompts to assist with journalling has been incredibly helpful and made me ask questions I would never have asked. Having a live person doing it made me stick with it as I felt an obligation to be there in all ways. I also shared the prompts with my husband at a later point during the week and it gave us interesting discussion.”
“I found the journalling sessions a really great time to disconnect from the outside world and focus on the prompts and how I was feeling. It was a really calm and nurturing environment where I felt supported to really think about what the prompt was asking me. I found themes coming out as the weeks went on, and I've made some changes in my life as I realized what I need right now.”
Questions & Answers
How much is this session?
It’s £15! The approx. exchange rate = $19 USD, $27 CAD, €17.
When does registration close?
Friday, March 28th, 2025!
What happens after I register?
On Saturday, March 29th, I will send you an email with instructions on how to join the session (the Zoom link + password). When it’s time for the session to begin on Sunday, you can simply click on the Zoom link and you’ll automatically join the group! (Note: I will send the instructions to whichever email address you use to register.)
When is the session?
We will be meeting on Zoom on Sunday, March 30th @ 8am PT/11am ET/4pm UK.
The session will last for 90 minutes and end at 9:30am PT/12:30pm ET/5:30pm UK.
What do I need to “bring” to the session?
Anything that will help you feel most supported during our time together! I’m providing the prompts, but you’re carving out the space for yourself to do this… so whatever feels good! If you’re writing in a physical journal, the one thing I might recommend is bringing different coloured pens/pencils/markers—only if you have them! You don’t have to use them. But maybe keep them close by… just in case you feel inspired!
Do I have to talk and/or turn on my camera?
No and no! When you first join the Zoom meeting, your video will be turned off + you will be muted. If you’re comfortable turning video on, it does add to the “community” feel of the experience, and could help others feel more comfortable too. But everyone (except for me) will stay muted throughout the session. I might pause and ask if anyone wants to share a few times, but there is no obligation for anyone to do this!
What happens after the session is over?
You can go about the rest of your day! The next day—Monday, March 31st—I’ll send you one final email with a link to the replay (available for 30 days) + a PDF workbook of all the prompts we went through together.
The price is in British pounds. Can I join/pay if I’m outside of the UK?
Yes, this is open to anyone who wants to join us! I’ve listed approximate exchange rates (for US dollars, Canadian dollars, and Euros), so you have an idea of how much it might cost you to register. (I’m only sorry that I can’t pick times that work for everyone around the world to join live, but the replay/workbook may still feel like a nice option!)
What happens if I can’t attend?
Life happens! If you can’t make it, remember that I will send you an email after the session with a link to the replay + a PDF workbook. Both options should give you an opportunity to go through the questions on your own time, and in your own way, if you cannot join us live.
